yeah well he is gonna get himself hurt one of these days if he doesn't wise up
[ Cisco realizes a few seconds later that that probably sounds way bad out of context. He texts again hastily ]
i didn't mean by me that's not like a threat, i'm just saying half the time i talk to him it feels like i'm watching a little kid running over to a windowless van with 'free candy' spray painted on the side
That's where you're wrong. Ray isn't stupid. Far from it.
Ray knows what he's gambling. How he plays the game is more important to him than winning it, cause he believes the means justify the ends instead of the other way around.
Might seem like he's got it twisted, but it ain't up to me to decide what's right or wrong and I couldn't care less.
All I know is if Ray were anyone but who he is, I'd be dead. Or wishing I was.
[ He never would have believed it would be possible for him to think it, but maybe Snart is right. He's a grown up. He's a hero. Just because Cisco hadn't been able to save himself back when he was still as trusting as Ray (or... closer to it) doesn't mean things will go the same way for Ray.
Cisco doesn't know if Ray's said anything about Eobard to Snart, yet. If he doesn't understand the context for this conversation yet, he'll get it soon enough. ]
[ OH HOW DEARLY CISCO WOULD LOVE to lord it over Snart that he has powers and Snart only has a gun, but that would mean revealing that he is a metahuman, and that's not worth it, just to win something this petty.
Almost worth it, but not quite. ]
a) technically, you haven't got one here either b) it's not yours, you're hitching a ride like a kid coming home from band practice.
It must have been a different Cisco Ramon who wrote, sang and played the ballad of Chewbacca on acoustic guitar at the CCU Star Wars anniversary party.
[ Oh god that's way too specific to not be true. Had someone put that on youtube? Cisco hadn't realized that was a possibility. Why would they? It was just some dorky, kind of lame nerdy song he'd played for the occasion. Who knows how many people had seen it. Snart had seen it. ]
[ Okay, okay. Just Googling him isn't that bad. Cisco's already touchy on the subject, and all this talk with Ray about Eobard has got his fuse shorter than usual. He needs to chill out. ]
is that supposed to make me feel better?
remind me to take that down when we get back.
you're wrong about the band practice, though. just taught myself as a party trick.

Like Team Flash, but cooler in every way.
[ He can't let this get too sappy. Doesn't want Cisco think he's going soft. He's just telling it like he sees it. ]
