[ Leonard exhales and lowers the gun. Ray's clearly a bigger threat to himself before anyone else. How he's survived this long as his own worst enemy is beyond Leonard's comprehension. He's right up there with pandas on the list of cute animals bumbling their way to self-extinction.

Another deep breath. Trying to swallow his heart down out of his throat and back into his chest. Ray's already seen him naked, but he'll be damned if Ray sees him scared.

He forces a smirk and shifts back onto one elbow, one long leg pulled up in front of him and the other stretched out to dangle over the side of the bed. Shameless. Distracting. ]

[ Last time Ray pointed out Leonard was scared it had ended up in a kiss. And they'd both been fully dressed. And this time Leonard is very much not.

So maybe, just maybe commenting on it isn't a great idea. ]

[ He means the facade. Leonard won't let Ray pretend he's fine when he isn't, he should get the same courtesy. Ray means to elaborate but he gets distracted by how naked Len is, he sees the bruises and the bite marks and he has to force himself to look away. ]

[ He knows he's turning pink and he knows that's what Len wants. He doesn't really feel like getting teased, so he flops on the floor to rub at his foot. Because that is the mature thing to do, clearly. ]
